Most car makers are being spectacularly stupid, some evil.
The engineers, as is usual, given a problem produced solutions. Purpose-designed electric vehicles, a charging network, electricity supplies.
And then people who make money from what is burned, and people who write about ICEVs, and people who've always built ICEVs pushed back.
