I watched a short interview with Brian Cox recently, and it was depressing. We are probably alone in the Milky Way galaxy. - 4.5b years ago - Earth formed - 3.8b years ago - life emerged - 700m years

@Gazimoff@gamepad.club Life is also extremely tenacious. The Earth has gone through 5 major extinction events and dozens of smaller ones.
Personally, I am near certain there's life out there, however, the challenge, I don't know if we'll ever find it. The chance of us overlapping at the same time, and within range of radio waves or other observable methods is so incredibly small.
